Let’s get one thing straight - Exams are scary for most people!

The fear of failure can be a real barrier to learning and success in exams.

We all perform better if we have the required mental approach and the appropriate emotional control in place in the build up to our exams.

For any strategy to actually work and to be of any benefit, effective advice to improve exam performance has to take account of the variety of attitudes students have towards their studies and exams and their reasons for wanting to do well.
